TOLEDO – Blade Marc Toledo (June 29, 1991-May 26, 2017)

Blade Marc Toledo was born in Durango, Colo., June 29, 1991 and lived most of his life in La Plata County.

At the time of his death, Blade was just becoming established as a trader, his chosen vocation. Blade, an accomplished artist and mentored by a host of friends, learned to cut, polish, and set stones and work with metals to become a jewelry smith, knife maker and sculptor.

Blade is the son of Michael R. Toledo and Christina Cutler and husband Charles. He is a half brother of Zoe’ and Paris Cutler. Grandparents are Joseph Toledo and wife Ann Kathryn Courbrough and husband Lawrence; Stanley Woodman and wife Myra; and Madeleine Heath and husband Harold.

A viewing for family and close friends was held at Hood Mortuary, Durango, Colorado on June 1, 2017. Services for Blade, a Jemez Tribal Member, were held June 3, 2017 in Jemez Pueblo, NM.
