CCIA visits school district

One of the stops on the tour was Ignacio Elementary School, as well as Ignacio Middle School and other buildings as part of the school district.
Colorado Lieutenant Governor, Joseph A. Garcia, was one of the guests on the tour. The tour made various stops throughout Ignacio where CCIA members got an inside look regarding the Ignacio School District’s ongoing advancements and developments.

Following an informative CCIA meeting held in Ignacio, members of the Colorado Commission of Indian Affairs were treated with a tour of the Ignacio school district on Friday, Sept. 12 led by superintendent, Rocco Fuschetto. The tour traveled to various schools including Ignacio Middle School and Ignacio Elementary School; where Fuschetto discussed progress of the latest developments including the structure of newer buildings and football fields.
